Today we got up early for a nice buffet breakfast at
the Joli hotel in Palermo. On offer was fresh croissants, meats, breads,
cereals, yoghurt and all good stuff. Jim drove from the hotel to Mondello Beach
(20 mins) for a strong coffee and a stroll on the beach to see the sights.

Then It was my turn to take control of the Peugeot, interesting experience driving on the wrong side of the road with all the crazy drivers…. We drove to Castellammare del Golfo where there were some great views.

After a short visit we moved on to Trapani where we grabbed some lunch, on offer was things such as Panini’s, lasagne, and such. Nice, local streets and shops.

It was time to go to the hotel in Agrigento so we travelled via Marsala. Quite a lot of slums along the way. We played spot the castle and there were some epic bridges… some over a km long. We then arrived in agragento and after some trouble finding the hotel we went for a walk, got some wine and ate some dinner. Pizza, pasta and goodess.
