Sunshine Coast Trip - Honeymoon

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon, we got to see quite a lot around the Sunshine Coast. From Noosa heads to Australia Zoo and The Glasshouse Mountains there were plenty of different activities to keep us entertained. Here are some photos and a few of the things we got up to. This is quite a long post as there we so many great sites.

First up here's the accommodation we had at the Sebel Maroochydore when we arrived on the Friday.

We didn't do a lot on our first day mostly just walking around and taking a few snaps from the balcony.

The second day (Saturday) we had our Fraser Island Tour. It was great to hear the history of the area. It was a long day, pick up at 5.30am, a drive up to Noosa, a ferry crossing and driving into the centre of the island. We spend a bit of time on the edge of Lake Makenzie which is one of the many lakes in the middle of the island it was amazing. It was also where we stopped for lunch and a cheeky Kookaburra tried to steal out Lunch. We got back to the hotel around 630pm.

On Sunday we took the bus to Sunshine Plaza and went for a walk along the beach.

On Monday we walked to Mooloolaba and went on a canal cruise. Got to know more history of the area and how the man made canals were formed. We even got to see some Pelican's. After the cruise we had some lunch and went into Underwater world which was great.

On Tuesday we took the bus to Australia Zoo. Kate and I even got a picture with a Koala (not shown here though...)

On Wednesday and Thursday we hired a car and managed to get quite a lot done. We drove up to Noosa heads, went to the Eumundi Markets, visited Montville, the Ginger factory, Nutworks, the Glasshouse Mountains and Maleny botanical gardens where they had an aviary. Quite a packed itinerary but we didn't feel rushed at all.
